The
magnificent natural
landscaping of this Shingletown KOA,
nestled among cedars and pines at 3,900 feet, reflects the geography of
the area. Nearby Lassen Volcanic National Park, McArthur-Burney Falls
Memorial State Park, Subway Caves and Lake Shasta are among the
numerous opportunities for sightseeing, bird watching, hiking, fishing
and photography. Every camper is treated like family and made just as
comfortable. The RV sites are spacious, the lodges and Kamping Kabins
are comfortable and the tent sites feature straw-covered pads that make
air mattresses virtually unnecessary. After a day of sightseeing and a
dip in the heated pool, relax in the glow of the campfire and let the
taste of s'mores bring a sweet end to this true camping experience. |

Located in
the eastern hills
outside of San Diego, California, Sacred
Rocks RV Park
provides a safe harbor from the harsh, urban world,
offering the tools and location for the exploration of the scenic
surroundings while exploring your inner self all year round. Our entire
163 acres are so much more than the RV park — we want to show the
bigger picture to everyone, thus the name change. Accessible
retreat from stress – how beneficial it is to spend time in
the quiet. Sacred Rocks Reserve is off the beaten path, off
the
freeway, off the highway, out in the high country. The noises are more
natural, and therefore, a bit surprising. The wind whispers through the
ancient oaks. The chattering of many birds like woodpeckers, hawks,
ravens and more, more, more. The howling of coyotes hunting. Peace of
mind just happens. |
