Highland Park Fish Camp
is located on Norris Dead River, a portion of the St. Johns River that
is neatly situated on the boundaries of Lake Woodruff National Wildlife
Refuge, a 20,000 acre preserve that has been left untouched by
development. The St. Johns is truly a fisherman's paradise and is world
famous for its largemouth bass that grow to lunker size. From Highland
Park you can drive, via mojor highways, to Daytona Beach in half an
hour and to Orlando, Disney World, Epcot, Kennedy Space Center, Sea
World and SilverSprings in one hour. The major species of freshwater
fish caught at Highland Park are largemouth bass, striped bass,
bluegill and crappie. While you are here enjoy the bird watching and
