Maryland Lodging for Bird Watching Vacations
 |
The variety of birding opportunities on the DELMARVA peninsula is
almost mind-bending. Within a short walk, drive, or paddle, are several of the most
productive and varied bird-watching venues on the Eastern Flyway.
Seasonally there are the migrating waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds.
Also, the resident field and songbirds of all seasons are a delight to
the eye, with several difficult to find species , such as prothonotary
warblers, and wood thrushes, in residence on waterways like the Pocomoke
River, Maryland’s first designated scenic river, which runs by two of
our inns. You also have Assateague National Seashore and Chincoteague
National Wildlife Preserve only a short drive from any of our inns. Tours may be scheduled separately, or in conjunction with Canoeing or
Biking . If scheduled with the Biking or Canoeing packages there is only
a $50 per person surcharge for the whole stay, if self-guided, and, we
will provide a complimentary Birding Guide to Delmarva to each
participant. Our Website: InnTours |
