Lakeside campground is surrounded by acres of wilderness! We also rent cabins and trailers. A variety of activities await you at Lakeside.  Swim in our own four acre lake or rent a peddle boat, canoe or rowboat for a tour of the lake. For the kids and young adults rent time on the Iceberg, an 8 foot climbing wall in the lake.   Bass, bluegill, pickerel and bullhead will taunt the fisherman in you. Up the tempo a bit and you can play tennis or basketball on our sports court.  Horseshoes, volleyball and badminton also await you. Into hiking or biking?   Two miles away is Hawkins pond, a county nature preserve, which has 3 levels of hiking trails for bird watchers and nature lovers.

Experience river travel on the Battenkill River with Battenkill Riversports trips. Each trip offers transportation to your launch, a tube, kayak or canoe, a map of the river and the promise of a really good time. You can stop along the way to take a rest and watch the birds and wildlife. Our campsites border the Battenkill River, and the grounds tranquil and secluded. The full bath house with hot showers is available to all our campers. The playground and game area, with volleyball nets, basketball court and horseshoes are ready for you. Lake Chalet Campground & Motel is nestled on a 6 acre private lake with a beach and flowing brook; both stocked for your fishing pleasure. Our activities include outdoor fun with horseshoes, volleyball, croquet, basketball, swimming, bird watching, fishing, badminton and a playground. Come inside to enjoy ping pong, darts, video games and more. Get out on the water with our rental paddle boat and surf bike rentals or bring your own canoe, raft, rowboat and inflatables. We offer 50 campsites, 22 featuring 20, 30, or 50 amp electric and water service. We also offer some pull-throughs for easy come, easy go.  "Back to basics" tent campers will enjoy our secluded sites between the lake and brook. Each campsite comes complete with a fireplace grill and picnic table. For your camping comfort and convenience, we offer 4 log cabins. The 1-room sleeps 4 and the 2-room sleeps 6.
