Located at the top of the Endless Mountains and the northern edge of the Poconos, the Vacation Inn
is in an area that can still be called "God's Country" - where deer
graze on your front lawn and many types of wildlife are commonly seen
in the woods. Area hunting and fishing is great, and around Columbus
Day, the fall foliage is spectacular to see. December brings a winter
wonderland, with two downhill and two cross-country ski areas nearby.
The Vacation Inn is situated on the main connecting trail between two
abandoned railroad beds that provide over 200+ miles of snowmobile and
cross- country trails. In the summer, these same trails can be used for
hiking, bird watching, horseback riding, or just a peaceful walk
through the woods. |
