The New River Lodge has 35 comfortable rooms and is conveniently located on main street in the sleepy town of Gauley Bridge. The Kanawha River is formed at Gauley Bridge by the confluence of the New and Gauley Rivers. Two miles to the southeast of Gauley Bridge, is Kanawha Falls, a popular stopping point on Midland Trail Scenic Highway.  Fishing, hunting, bird watching, hiking are the favorite pastimes around here and the area is well know for just kicking back and getting some well deserved rest and relaxation.
