The Whistler,
a two-story, neoclassical wood frame residence, is one of
the oldest homes in Walker County, and is situated on three
acres of land just north of downtown Huntsville, home of
Texas hero Sam Houston. The property is shaded by large

the back, as well as a double hammock nestled in the trees

pond for walking, bird watching, relaxing or a

have bird feeders on our property and attract cardinals
(counted 26 last Valentine's Day at one feeder),
